Prevent Pancreatic Cancer with Drink Pare Juice

According to a recent study scientist at the University of Colorado, Denver, USA, bitter melon juice can prevent pancreatic cancer.

It tastes bitter, it remains popular society of India and China centuries ago. The researchers, who published the findings in the journal Carcinogenesis mention, pare to inhibit pancreatic cancer cells to metabolize glucose. That way, the source of energy drained and cancer cells to die.

"Three years earlier, the researchers found that an extract of this juice is also an effect on breast cancer cells with a very good result," said Head of Cancer Control and Prevention Program Rajesh Agarwal told The Hindu.

Diabetes usually early onset pancreatic cancer and can be used to control pare trend in that direction.

"The juice is often consumed by people in Asian countries and proved to affect the metabolism of glucose so that the energy source for the growth of cancer cells inhibited and death," said Agarwal.

Agarwal says that changes in metabolism in pancreatic cancer cells is activated by AMP-activated protein kinase. Kinase is an enzyme that is the source of energy in pancreatic cells. Perhaps not coincidentally also that bitter melon can regulate insulin secretion.

This is proven by researchers to test experimental rats fed bitter melon juice. As a result, about 60 percent of rats fed bitter melon juice, less likely to get pancreatic cancer.

"This is a very exciting discovery. Many researchers are trying a new drug engineered to enhance the ability of cancer cells. And with bitter melon juice, naturally someone will benefit, "said Agarwal.
